Grand Hotel Stable & Carriage Museum

The Grand Hotel has its very own Stable & Carriage Museum that is free to all island visitors.
It’s just a quick, easy walk up Surrey Hill, right across from the Butterfly Conservatory.
Once you get there, you’ll find a real, working stable where you can see the horses up close.
Wander through displays of antique carriages and sleighs, and be sure to grab a snack or souvenir at one of the cute shops while you’re there.

Concerts in the Park

Hike & Bike the Trails

Governor’s Summer Residence Tour

If you happen to visit on a Wednesday during the summer, be sure to check and see if you can snag a free tour of the Governor’s Mansion. Tours are arranged by the Visitor’s Center.
A little info: The Mansion was built in 1902 and is an impressive three-story, 7,000 square foot home that features 11 bedrooms, 9.5 baths and a porch with beautiful views of the island harbor below.
