The UP State Fairgrounds in Escanaba is where the biggest fair in the Upper Peninsula takes place.

For a week every August in Escanaba, the UP State Fairgrounds turns into a celebration of all things Yooper. When you’re talkin’ about Michigan Fairs, this one has been bringing together people from all over Michigan (and beyond) to celebrate agriculture, local talent, and community spirit.
