St. Ambrose Cellars in Beulah

They make mead, wine, and some beer on site, built on more than 30 years of beekeeping and their own locally produced honey. If you’ve never had mead before, think of it as wine made from honey instead of grapes.

The vibe is relaxed and very Up North: you’ll find a tasting room plus large outdoor space with picnic tables, fire pits, and room to wander.

Order flights and by‑the‑glass pours along with pizza, burgers and other food items in the taproom.

On‑site activities include live music, yard games, bocce ball, and an 18‑hole disc golf course that plays through their wooded property. Barn Dances, Disc Golf Tournaments, and other events dot the calendar throughout the year.

In the summer, they host the Honey Bee Market on Mondays. It’s a fresh lineup of local vendors, handmade goods, tasty snacks, and, of course, meads.
