Touch, Play & Discover at the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum

Ready for a family adventure? Pack up the car and dive into all the amazing things to do in Ann Arbor.

Located in downtown Ann Arbor, the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum is designed for kids (and adults!) who learn best by touching, experimenting and playing. Instead of traditional “look-but-don’t-touch” exhibits, nearly all of the 250+ exhibits here invite participation—making science feel more like an adventure than a lesson.

While you’re in town, swing by the U of M Museum of Natural History. Admission is free, and its gigantic dinosaurs make it a prehistoric adventure worth the trip!

Pro tip: Before you go, check your museum membership cards—your Grand Rapids Public Museum, Air Zoo or Impression 5 Science Center membership might get you in for free.
