This July 18-20, downtown Ann Arbor is once again transformed into a living canvas, sprawling across 30 city blocks, where nearly 1,000 artists showcase their genius.
We’ve hyped many cool Michigan Fairs & Festivals, but this massive event may take the cake.

Chalk the Walk
Make your mark alongside famed street artist David Zinn on Liberty near Fifth, as you transform sidewalks into your personal canvases.
Art in Action: Head to Liberty near Main to watch artist Tess Marhofer as she re-creates a magnificent work of art and turns it into a large-scale Chalk Art street painting.
Art Demo Zone & Art Activities
Peek into the creative process as artists demonstrate how they develop their unique works of art in the Art Demo Zone.
Also, Join in on free, family-friendly art projects at the Art Activity Zone on Ingalls Mall, near E. Washington between Thayer and Fletcher.

Boy, oh boy does Ann Arbor have you covered when it comes to food. Dozens of amazing local restaurants are within walking distance of the fair.

Some restaurants have limited hours during the fair, so check ahead of time to make sure they’re open before you go.

Getting Around
Here’s the scoop on getting there and getting around:
Downtown Parking: Downtown Ann Arbor parking structures charge $18/day or $9 after 5 PM.
Park & Ride: Avoid the hassle with Park & Ride options from Huron High School and Briarwood Mall. Free parking, $8 round trip & kids under 5 ride free.
Art-Go-Round Shuttle Service: Catch the shuttle for easy navigation around the fair. With shuttle service from one end of the fair to the other, you’ll easily navigate 30 city blocks without breaking a sweat.
Hop on at any of the Art-Go-Round stops located around the perimeter of the fair. Check the map and stops here.
