Start with Must-See Art Installations
Here’s a few of this year’s coolest (see what we did there?) looking art installations:
Connection (555 Monroe) – Color and sound work together to create a dazzling experience.
Sominus (Ah-Nab-Awen Park) – This huge hexagonal light structure floats above you – and plays a concert and light show based on the movements of the people beneath it.
Weci | Koninut (555 Monroe) – An interactive installation made up of six giant dreamcatchers. Sit within their space and reflect on your dreams. Only available Jan 22 – Feb 22.
Seasonal Wonders Light Show (Lyon Square) – A 20 minute projection light show that highlights the four seasons.

Parking & Other Details
So, where should you park?
- Scribner Lot ($5) near the Ford Museum
- DeVos Hall Underground Lot—good central location.
- Street parking is free after 6 PM and on weekends (if you can find it).
As far as walking is concerned, some displays are grouped together, while others require a 15-20 minute walk between locations.
If it’s too cold for a long walk, focus on Ah-Nab-Awen Park, 555 Monroe, and Canal Park for the most bang-for-your-buck experience.
