A rescued animal sanctuary between Ann Arbor and Saline where you can pet a possum, watch sloths hang overhead, and hear the backstories of over 300 animals from 70 different species.

Here, every resident here is a rescue with a tale to tell, and the interactive demos let you meet many of them up close.

Highlights at Creature Conservancy

  1. Interactive demos all day where you might pet a possum, meet a turtle up close, or marvel at a kangaroo – the encounters change monthly
  2. Sloth central featuring Poco and friends slowly navigating their overhead habitat (yes, you can walk right underneath them)
  3. Rescued residents with stories from Al the Alligator (former exotic pet) to Quinn the Bald Eagle (injured and non-releasable)
  4. Join them for Creature & Crafts in fireside during open hours to get up close with some cool critters and enjoy crafts, activities, books, and more

  • Indoor and outdoor enclosures so weather won’t stop you from visiting
  • When: Saturdays and Sundays, 12-5 PM; year-round
  • Tickets: $15 adults, $13 children (2-12), Under 2 are free.
