For over 90 years, the Charlevoix Venetian Festival has been lighting up Northern Michigan with music, fireworks, and waterfront fun.

What started as a candle-lit boat parade in 1931 is now an eight-day celebration packed with concerts, parades, air shows, carnival rides, fireworks, farmers market, Bridge Street block party, and Kids Day.

What to Expect

  • Concerts & Live Music – Big-name performances, no tickets required!
  • Fireworks – Two nights of fireworks and air shows over Lake Charlevoix and Round Lake
  • Parades – A street parade & the iconic Venetian boat parade at night.
  • Carnival & Games – Rides & Venetian games (pickleball, corn toss, beach volleyball)
  • Sports & Beach Fun – Tournaments for soccer, basketball, sailing, and more.
  • Vendors & Street Performers – Stroll downtown and soak up the festive atmosphere.

Kids Day

  • Kids Day includes a petting zoo, bubble land, yard games, and a giant coloring mural.
  • With a $10 armband, kids can also access pony rides, crafts, jump houses, and a mechanical bull.
