4 Tips for Visiting a U Pick Fruit Farm
1. Call ahead for availability and go early. Some farms are “overpicked” by lunch.
2. Bring your own basket/wagon if needed. Check with each location.
3. Bring cash or confirm payment policy. Many farms do not accept cards.
4. Wear appropriate clothing. Crouching down in the dirt or brushing up against trees can do a number on your clothes. Bring sun protection and wear covered-toe shoes. Consider boots if the fields are muddy.
