Fall Fun Gets Cozy After Dark

Thought you’d want to know about our recent discovery: Schwallier’s Country Basket (that farm we all know and love just outside of Grand Rapids) offers private bonfire party in their “Back 40” area for groups of 20 or more. Family, friends, youth groups, clubs will want to look into this cozy fall option.

Here’s the scoop: In addition to the private bonfire, you can plan on corn maze wandering, bouncing on their giant jumping pillow, and even shooting apple cannons! There’s also slides, a straw mountain, and other kid activities to explore.

How it Works

For $240, you and up to 19 of your buddies get the run of the place. (The price goes up if you bring more people.)

Go fancy and opt for the s’mores package – it’s a bit more but I can’t think of a bonfire without roasting marshmallows!

Oh, and don’t forget to pre-order some of Schwallier’s famous donuts and cider.

When Can I Have a Bonfire Party?

Bonfire parties are available on Tuesday through Saturday nights, from 6-8 PM in September and October only.

As of September 12, 2024, there are still some prime dates up for grabs. September 14th is wide open if you’re itching to kick off fall ASAP, and October 14th is perfect for peak autumn vibes. (Check their booking calendar for the latest availability.)

PS – You’ll need to put down a $50 deposit when you book.
