Wealthy Theatre in Grand Rapids

Wealthy Theatre on Wealthy Street SE opened in 1911 as a vaudeville venue, later became a movie house, and was restored in 1999 after sitting vacant for over 25 years.

Today it’s a 400-seat community arts center run by the Grand Rapids Community Media Center, hosting concerts, films, and cultural events in its historic Mediterranean Revival-style space.
