MOO-ville Creamery
is a working dairy farm an hour southwest of Grand Rapids where ice cream is made with milk from their own cows and served right at the farm.
It’s known for its farm-to-cone setup, tours, free petting farm, and laid-back, hang-out feel with games, animals, and plenty to do.
Bakery & Ice Cream Shop
The Nashville shop is where they make over 80 hand-dipped flavors, all from MOO-ville’s own milk.
Look for a lot of fun flavor names, like How Now Brown Cow, Just Take My Money, I’m Your Huckleberry, and Pirates Treasure.
They also do soft serve, sundaes, shakes, malts, and banana splits.
The on-site bakery makes custom cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and seasonal pumpkin rolls.
Beyond ice cream, the farm store carries bottled milk, cheese curds, butter, cream cheese, sour cream, ground beef and steaks, Take-N-Bake freezer meals, and a gift shop.
There’s a drive-thru if you don’t have time to get out, and they’re open Mon–Sat year-round (closed Sundays).
Events & Fall Fun
MOO-ville does a Fall Festival with free horse-drawn wagon rides, free pumpkin decorating, and a pick-your-own pumpkin patch.
They also go all-in on seasonal treats – Pumpkin Roll Sundaes (homemade pumpkin roll with cream cheese soft serve), Caramel Green Apple ice cream, and the themed shakes.
Year-round, you can do a self-guided robot barn tour for $3/person anytime they’re open – there’s no group minimum, kids 3 and under free. (Larger group tours & field trips have a 30-person minimum run in spring & fall and include a soft serve cone, plus animal feed.)
Free Petting Zoo
The free petting farm at the Nashville location has 40+ animals (goats, calves, chickens, turkeys, lambs, donkeys, alpacas, bunnies, and more).
Feed cones are two for $1 (they’re actual ice cream cones filled with feed, which is kind of great).
There’s also a free playground and giant sandbox, a covered pavilion for eating lunch or ice cream outside, and paved sidewalks so it’s stroller- and wheelchair-friendly.
Open April through October, weather dependent. Don’t skip the photo op with Jodie, the giant MOO-ville cow.
Note: no dogs allowed (food service + petting zoo).
