Monroe Community Church in Grand Rapids

Monroe Community Church in the Monroe North neighborhood of downtown Grand Rapids turned a 1960s industrial building into a ministry center that’s also an award-winning art venue.

It’s known for its strong ArtPrize presence (over 30 exhibits this year), with jury-winning exhibits and services that often feature interviews with the artists.

There will be 2 outdoor venues and the rest will be inside. Inside exhibits are family-friendly and barrier free with no stairs.

Restrooms are available with changing tables as well as a water bottle refill drinking fountain.

There will be a family play room and free chalk to participate on the outdoor chalk wall.

The venue will be open Mon.-Thur. 9-8 PM, Fri. & Sat. 12-8 PM, and Sun. 9-3 PM.
