Mochinut brings the nationwide craze of chewy, poppable treats to Grand Rapids, adding to their growing list of Michigan Mochinut locations.

This playful franchise has racked up fans across the country for its mochi-style donuts (think: crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside), colorful Korean rice flour hotdogs, boba drinks, and soft serve.

What are Mochi Donuts?

Mochi donuts originated in Hawaii and are a cross between classic American doughnuts and Japanese mochi.  The result of this mashup is a donut with a light crispy coating with a soft chewy inside.

Each donut is shaped in a ring of 8 dough balls, perfect for sharing (or not).

What else does Mochinut offer?

For something savory, their Korean-style hotdogs are dipped, fried, and decked out in toppings like ramen noodles or diced potatoes.

They also have a DIY Ramen bar, bubble tea, and soft-serve.
