About 30 minutes northwest of Grand Rapids, Fruit Ridge Hayrides in Kent City is a 130-year-old family-run farm.

Visitors can sip fresh-pressed cider, munch on delicious donuts, take a hayride through the orchards, pick out the perfect pumpkin, and hang with the animals or catch a pony ride. They can also make their way through one of the largest corn mazes in Western Michigan.

Parents will appreciate the kid-sized picnic tables right beside the grown-up ones where you can enjoy cider and donuts. (Or even better, enjoy your snacks by a cozy campfire in the evenings.)

Open weekends from mid-September through October. Private groups by reservation only during the week.
