Evergreen Lane Creamery
is a goat farm and creamery in West Michigan that makes small-batch cheeses from locally sourced goat and Jersey cow milk.
They’re known for their on-site goats, farmstead cheesemaking, and a tasting-focused setup where you can sample and shop while watching the animals nearby.
Their little red cheese-tasting shop is cute as a button.
About Their Cheeses
On any given visit you’ll find eight or nine cheeses in the case, a mix of fresh chèvres, soft bloomy rinds, farmhouse cheddars, and seasonal stuff that rotates with the batches.
The chèvre comes in a bunch of flavors like fig, salsa macha, and sundried tomato. (Pyramid Pointe, their ash-coated goat cheese, is a fan favorite.)
And if you’re into cow’s milk, the LaMancha MOO is a camembert-style cheese that’s worth grabbing.
Don’t worry if none of this sounds familiar – the staff will walk you through tastings and help you put together a solid haul.
About those Chevre and Chocolate Truffles
If you time it right, you can get your hands on their chocolate truffles, rich Belgian chocolate with a tangy chèvre center.
They’re a labor of love that only shows up around holidays like Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and the winter season.
When they post that truffles are back in stock, don’t wait. They go fast.
Good to Know Before You Go
There’s no admission or ticket, you’re just stopping by during shop hours to taste and buy.
Hours can shift depending on the season, so check before you go.
Plan about 20–45 minutes here. It’s a working farm, so expect gravel and grassy ground cover, and if you’re looking for something specific, it’s worth calling ahead.
