The Brown Trout Festival is one of Michigan’s best freshwater fishing tournaments and the longest-running fishing tournament in the Great Lakes. The competition is held on the waters of Thunder Bay in Alpena.

Over the course of 10 days, anglers can compete in multiple tournaments, from high-stakes challenges to daily prizes for the biggest Brown Trout, Walleye, Steelhead, Salmon, and Lake Trout.
