762 Midtown Arcade & Arthur H. Vandenberg Sculpture

146 Monroe Center St NW, Grand Rapids MI 49503

762 Midtown Arcade is a small open-air plaza at Pearl Street and Monroe Avenue, right in front of McKay Tower and Kilwin’s in downtown Grand Rapids.

This spot is often a hub for public art, events, and World of Winter and ArtPrize festival installations. It’s also home to the Arthur Vandenberg statue.

More About This Place

762 Midtown Arcade isn’t an indoor arcade at all, just a lively little triangle where Pearl Street and Monroe Avenue meet.

It’s right across the street from Rosa Parks Circle and the Amway Grand Hotel. Biggby is located here, too.

Downtown Grand Rapids Inc. brings it to life with outdoor games and pop-up fun, and the bronze Arthur Vandenberg statue anchors the space.

Throughout the year, big events like ArtPrize and World of Winter turn it into an outdoor gallery packed with large-scale art and plenty of people passing through.
