As the temperatures begin to rise and the water beckons, it’s time to make your list of of all the fun things to do in Lansing this summer.
Be sure to add one (or several!) of these 16 water parks, splash pads, and outdoor pools to your summer bucket list.

Hawk Island

East Lansing Family Aquatic Center
6400 Abbot Rd, East Lansing, 48823
Opening day June 1 – Labor Day Weekend. Open days are weather-dependent.

- Lifeguards on duty
- Chairs, lounge chairs, and Coast-Guard approved lifejackets available on a first come, first serve basis

Hunter Park Pool

- Bring your ID to check-in plus a lock for their locker rooms. In most cases, personal items are not allowed on the deck.
- Only Coast Guard approved flotation devices are permitted
Moores Park Pool

FUN FACT: Listed in the National Register of Historic Places, the J.H. Moores Memorial Natatorium—or as we call it, Moores Park Pool—is in need of significant renovations to save it. Read more on the history and efforts here.

St. Johns City Park/Spray Park

In 2024 – the spray park will be open on the weekends only May 25-27, June 1 & 2, and June 8 & 9, while routine repairs are made. Regular hours of 10 AM – 8 PM daily resume on June 12.

Sleepy Hollow State Park
