Understanding Key Terms for Preschool Curriculum
Don’t know where to start? No worries. With such a wide range of preschool curriculum choices in Greater Lansing, we’ve broken down some key terms to familiarize yourself with during your searching process.
High Scope Curriculum – Research-based curriculum based on active learning, purposeful play, etc.
International Baccalaureate (IB) – Accreditation curriculum based on critical thinking, inquiry, and independence.
Language Immersion – A percentage of the day spent learning curriculum in English and a percentage of the day spent learning curriculum in another language.
