Summertime in Michigan and ice cream on a patio go hand in hand. After all, what is a Lansing summer without a Superman ice cream or at least one MSU Dairy store trip, right?
Ice cream shops open as soon as we Michiganders start wearing shorts again. Although we only get a small amount of warmer weather months, it doesn’t mean we lack in the number of ice cream shops.

Located in Old Town and is a city staple. We love this place for its nostalgia and delicious soft serve. Walk-up and order your ice cream and then find a spot to enjoy it. We recommend nearby Brenke Fish Ladder.
