Let’s be honest – what would fall be without cider and donuts?
There’s something about drinking fresh cider and warm donuts that just sets the fall mood.
This winning combination is a tradition amongst Michiganders, and luckily we have lots of yummy options right here in the Capital City.

Lansing is booming with delicious cider and donut options, but take a short drive out of the city and you’re sure to find quaint, family-run farms that have perfected the cider and donut fall vibe.
Many of these places offer much more than just fall food favs. Some have a whole fall vibe going on with apple picking, corn mazes, and pumpkin patches. Some even have fun yard games, hay rides, live music, and more for an unforgettable experience.

This adorable farm in Haslett offers fresh, warm donuts and delicious cider. There’s also a small corn maze in the back, u-pick and already picked pumpkins and gourds galore, and lovely items for purchase like vibrant mums.

This small, family-owned orchard in Holt offers delicious, fresh apple cider. Check their Facebook or call to make sure cider has been made for the season.

If you’re looking for a full day of amazing fall activities, this is the choice for you.
Choice Farm Market in Webberville offers apple cider, donuts, food, hay rides, pumpkin patch, candy cannon, calf roping and so much more.

This adorable and quaint bakery and cafe has donuts and ALL the pastries plus coffee. Seasonal offerings and themed goodies available, but do not skip their out-of-this-world sandwiches for lunch.

During the fall, they serve up apple cider cake donuts and pumpkin spice cake donuts. Gluten-free options are here as well.

Located in Howell, about 30-40 minutes from Lansing, you’ll find Markillie Orchard serving up delicious, fresh cider and all sorts of donuts – apple spice, pumpkin spice, blueberry with vanilla icing. Don’t skip the hot cider or the cider slush.
Bonus: Markillie Orchards has an outdoor playspace for kids.

This is a working-mom office favorite! Plus with so many locations throughout Greater Lansing, there is bound to be a QD on your way home.
PRO TIP: Rumor has it, QD has THE BEST seasonal chip dip! We have friends who make a special trip just to QD trip to stock-up.

Try these other Michigan donut trails that promise just as many delectable delights. Both GRKIDS and KZOOKIDS have miles and miles of donuts to find. A couple of our personal favorites are Robinette’s Apple Haus & Winery in Grand Rapids and VerHage Fruit Farms & Cider Mill in Kalamazoo.
