Greater Lansing Area Corn Mazes: 5 Local Spots to Get Lost in This Fall!
Making your way through a corn maze in the fall is a must-do on many a Michigander’s fall bucket list.
Listening to kids squeal with excitement, watching the joy of navigating the tall stalks, and the satisfaction of finally completing it is what brings families back year after year.
Visiting a corn maze during the fall is a fun and inexpensive way to spend a beautiful, crisp fall day. Plus many of these farms have extras like cider, donuts, apples, pumpkins, hayrides, and more.
The Greater Lansing area has some great corn maze options which are known throughout the state. This year’s line-up includes a tribute to our beloved Lions and the 75th anniversary of Peanuts! Some boast difficult mazes while some have simpler options for little ones.
No matter your corn maze style, try your luck at one of these fun corn maze farms.

Meandering through the corn maze at Uncle John’s Cider Mill in St. Johns, MI
Uncle John’s Cider Mill is the ultimate Mid-Michigan fall destination and their corn maze is just one of the reasons why.
This year’s 5-acre corn maze features a unique design to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Peanuts! The full maze takes about 45 minutes to complete and parents MUST accompany their children.
Make a whole day of it and enjoy the cider mill, pumpkin patch, train (new in 2023), wagon rides, sunflower patches and other fun activities.
Open seven days a week 9 AM – 7 PM beginning September 3, 2024.

The original Bestmaze in Williamston that everyone knew and loved shut down in 2022 after 22 years, but there’s good news: Bestmaze II opened here last fall and it’s designed and installed by the original owner!
Just like the OG, Bestmaze II in southwest Lansing will feature a new, fun, and challenging theme each year. This maze really lives up to its name, making it a favorite in Mid-Michigan with loyal followers who return year after year.
This year’s theme is “Year of the Knight and the Dragon” and is sure to make you swoon.
Hear ye, hear ye! Pencil it in, the gates will be open September 27 through November 2! Henceforth the hours will be as follows: Friday: 6 PM – 10 PM, Saturday: 1 PM – 10 PM, Sunday: 1 PM – 7 PM.
Rumor has it that there could be a Bestmaze III coming in the future to the east of Williamston, and the beloved Trail of Terror that also closed down could make a comeback as well. The Trail of Terror is closed for the 2024 season.

Besides delicious food and a complete list of fun, fall activities, Choice Farm Market in Webberville boasts an awesome themed corn maze for families to enjoy.
This year’s theme? A tribute to our beloved Lions head coach Dan Campbell! Get ready to make memories with interactive activities throughout the maze to test out your Lions knowledge and truly test your GRIT.
Guess what else? Lions Season Ticket Holders can visit for $12.99 (must show proof). Those 2 and under are free, but regular admission is $14.99.
Admission includes this amazing corn maize, cow train, pumpkin house, culvert slide, countless photo ops, and bragging rights because how cool is this maze?!
Only the true Lions diehards will be there for this corn maze kick-off on September 28! Choice Farm Market is open Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM – 6 PM.

Shawhaven Farm in Mason is the perfect place to go if you’re looking for corn maze fun. Their 8-acre maze will surely have you guessing which way is out.
This will be Shaw’s last year open, so you don’t miss this grand finale!
Make a whole day adventure at Shawhaven Farm, which is an educational, family-owned working farm. See farm animals close up, play games and do activities at Fun Valley, and pick out the perfect pumpkin with a free tractor ride out to the patch.
Please note that Shawhaven Farm is only open every weekend in October so don’t wait!
About a 45-minute drive from Lansing, this lovely working farm takes you back to when days were simpler. Located in a quiet corner of Spring Arbor, Red Egg Farm offers a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Find your way through the corn maze and afterward, try the cider, donuts, pumpkins and feed barnyard animals.
Mark your calendars because Red Egg Farm will be opening September 28. This amazing farm is open Saturdays and Sundays 10 AM – 6 PM.
Owned by the same family for five generations, Lewis Adventure Farm & Zoo is celebrating their 20th anniversary with their maze this year!
This L-shaped maze is different from the traditional rectangular or square mazes. Does this make it easier or harder? We don’t know. Check it out and let us know!
