Harry Potter: The Forbidden Forest Experience in Chicago! Tickets Selling FAST

Harry Potter Chicago The Forbidden Forest

The Forbidden Forest Comes to Chicagoland

Harry Potter fans have another reason to fly into the Windy City because the Forbidden Forest is in town through early November.

This one-mile outdoor trail is walked at night, where you’re surrounded by glowing lights, sound effects, and creatures pulled straight from the movies.

Inside the Forbidden Forest

This isn’t a time to sit back and relax. Definitely bring your wand because the trail is interactive.

You can cast spells, conjure a Patronus, and stop at different activity points.

Along the way you’ll bump into Hippogriffs, unicorns, and even a few mischievous Nifflers. The walk usually takes 60 to 90 minutes, depending on how long you hang out at each stop.

At the entrance and exit, there’s a village area with Butterbeer, hot chocolate, and fire pits for roasting marshmallows.

The gift shop has wands, house gear, and event-exclusive merch.

*Heads up: we are affiliates for this event. If you buy tickets through our link, we earn a tiny bit of gold in the vault at Gringotts at no extra cost to you. It helps us keep sharing magical adventures like this one.
